Duties and Responsibilities: Research Scientists work
to improve life and health by increasing the world's knowledge about their
chosen field of study. Their interests are many and varied, and often
they focus their research in biochemistry, genetics, immunology, microbiology,
marine biology, molecular biology, physics, or pathology.
Salary: $25,000 - $75,000
Education: Students should take the most challenging
science, math, and English courses available in high school including advanced
placement and international baccalaureate courses.
