Student Success Statement Og Mandino

Student Success Statement
"I will persist until I succeed."
Og Mandino

Reflection: I really like this statement by Og because this motivates me and should motivate all of us. This is for sure the best motivation in my opinion. This statement means to keep and and trying until you reach what you want to reach, until you accomplished what you wanted. I will keep trying and work hard until I get what I want. In my case my dream is to become a professional soccer player and I am working hard to get there. You really need to be committed and believe that you will make it and keep working for it. Everybody is going to have failures, but failing is success in progress. When you fail take it as a positive thing, that should make want to work harder.  Persist until you succeed.

Student Success Calvin Coolidge

"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence.
TALENT will not, nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
GENIUS will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
EDUCATION will not; the world is full of educated derelicts =.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
President Calvin Coolidge

Reflection: I really like this statement one of the best that Mr. Haymore has showed us. This gets me very motivated. The video he put before also motivated me because all of them went through failure and that shows me that I will fail and I shouldn't be scared to fail. It all depends how people react to it. You need Persistence and not give up when your failing.
For example: You want straight A's and you have a couple of B's that you cant bring up because you failed a test, you need to continue to do your work and do better on the next test. Also, in sports if your not doing well in games keep practicing everyone has gone through that really bad game and just feel like giving up, even I have and that just made me want to practice more.

Student Success Statement Lou Holtz

The answers to these questions will determine your success or failure:
1.Can people trust me to do what's right?
2.Am I committed to doing my very best?
3.Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
If the answers to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail."
Lou Holtz
Reflection: I strongly agree with this statement because those questions will determine if you will succeed or fail. If people answered no to all the questions, you are going down hill and get your stuff together. If people answer yes to all you are going to the right path and continue. In my opinion, for me I say yes to all those questions. I feel like I am a nice person and people do trust me that I will do what is right and I try to do my very best in some aspects in my life like soccer but I also need to try my very best in school as well.
