Duties and Responsibilities: They fit and dispense
eyeglasses for patients based upon prescription written by ophthalmologist or
optometrists. Opticians help the customer’s select eyeglass frames.
Salary:$19,000 - $40,000
Education: In order to get this job you would have to take
high school courses in physics, algebra, mechanical drawing, and geometry. Also, high school diploma or GED certificate
is needed to begin training as an optician.
